Nah, I jest, this came out great Rea, even if you don't consider it done. ^_^ I love the colouring in particular on his mane and the feather, really rich and vibrant. Is this a compressed version? I can imagine this making a gorgeous print in a higher resolution.
Alas, the higher res version is stuck on my grandfather's computer now. I had intended to email it to myself so I could continue working on it when I got home, but his computer is on dial up so that didn't work. I'm an idiot, and didn't think to save it to a disk, so the shoulders may never get fixed, and this may be the only thing people get to see. I'll try and remember it the next time I'm in CA.
I'm glad it looks as good as it does now. I can feel better about not finishing it because of that.
I would personally try other color schemes, based upon the coi fish I've seen. White with red, gold with white, etc. It's a lovely picture! You should sell them, go to cafepress! Make tshirts...
